Jethro Tull – M.U. - The Best Of Jethro Tull (Abbey Road Half-Speed Master)-

The definitive 50th Anniversary Half-Speed Remaster of Jethro Tull’s classic 1976 hits collection.

Originally issued in 1976 as part of Chrysalis Records' catalog, M.U. - The Best Of Jethro Tull ("M.U." standing for Musicians' Union) was the British progressive rock titans' first true single-disc greatest hits compilation. Assembled under the direction of bandleader Ian Anderson, the album spans the band's golden era between 1969 and 1975, featuring essential radio tracks alongside subtle alternative mixes, single edits, and the rare non-album b-side "Rainbow Blues".

Reissued as part of Warner Music's Spirit of '76 campaign, this audiophile edition was newly cut at half-speed by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios directly from the original analogue source master tapes. Running the source tape and cutting lathe at half speed allows for superior high-frequency clarity, transient response, and pristine dynamic separation. Pressed on 140g Standard Black Vinyl.
